After attending Funspot, a major arcade tournament host, for their 2003 contest, I was more convinced than ever that what classic arcade gamers needed was a list of each other's e-mail addresses, plus some basic information about themselves (gaming-wise !). This idea had been percolating in my mind for a number of years, and after discussing it with various players in attendance, I decided to implement it in the months after this tourney.
If you wish to be a part of this list, and are already somewhat known in the gaming community, then to go to my form page, where you may enter the information to be part of my list. Hopefully, we'll get a bit of camaraderie going, and be able to easily touch base regarding matters that are video gaming related.
Also, anyone who is involved with classic gaming is
welcome to be a part of this listing. Examples: Funspot event organizers; Twin Galaxies' referees,
and personnel; game programmers; and anyone else that fits into the category of
'classic arcade gaming' ! All names are in alphabetical order, and all
information in the 'accomplishments' category is generally provided by the
person themselves, but I will do my best to ensure that everything is
accurate. One final note for those considering being added to this list: in order to foil spammers that use robots to
'mine' e-mail addresses, I've taken advanced steps, using Javascript, to keep
these e-mail addresses safe. Now, without further ado, here we go...
