Jason Spindler's Arcade Party event page

Jason Spindler, a CAGDC Members Area member, occasionally holds an 'arcade party' at his home arcade in Indiana. He owns the planet's only fully working Turbo Sub machine, and he invited myself, and my gaming buddy Mark Boolman, to join in for his latest party. I knew I would get to see some terrific gaming, as both Mark and Jason are world-class players on Turbo Sub, so it was a given that I attend (plus, I hadn't seen Mark in a couple of years).

I knew I'd get great footage of the guys playing Turbo Sub, and Nova 2001 too. It turned out just that way, but an unexpected player made a world record on 'Nova', making for a very interesting time at the 'J-cade', as Jason has dubbed his gameroom.

Here is my picture coverage of my trip to Indiana. For now, captions only appear on this page, but will eventually appear on the individual pages that come up when you click on a thumbnail below. There are 18 pictures, and they were all taken the day of my trip - Saturday, October 20th.


After arriving Saturday, (l-r) I, Mark Boolman, and Jason Spindler went straight to the 'J-cade', and started gaming.	Of course, we had to see Jason show off his skills on Turbo Sub, which he promptly did.	Mark checks out Jason's play.

Let's start the tour of the J-cade; here we see (l-r) Journey, Gun Fight, and Bank Panic!.	Next up is Donkey Kong, and Popeye.	A Mr. Do! sits between Mouse Trap and Nova 2001.

Here we see (r-l) Tron, Gorf, Turbo Sub (being played), and Solar Fox.	A Warlords cocktail (one of three of that cabinet type that Jason has) is shown.	L-R: Galaga is shown, then *Frogger, Qbert, and finally Centipede** (played by Jason's wife Angela).

Here's a well-deserved close-up of Jason's pristine Turbo Sub.	A nice touch in the J-cade is the blackboard, with top scores for Jason, the J-cade, and TG.	Just in case you forget... you're at the one-and-only J-cade !
